HOWARD NAME has long been associated with "custom
built" Vacuum Chambers, dating back to the early 1950s with the first
chamber being built for a JPL-Ford Aerospace-Rockwell project. Howard
Fabrication carries on that tradition by specializing in the design, engineering
and fabrication of large and small vacuum chambers as well as building
complete Vacuum Systems. As an ASME Code fabricator, our welders, welding
procedures and quality control program meet the highest standards in the
world. SYSTEM SIZING is not a problem. Our shop capabilities allow us to fabricate chambers ranging in 12" to 20' in diameter with lengths ranging from 1' to 80'. OUR RANGE OF EXPERTISE includes (but is not limited to) Bakeout, Degassing, Environmental, Evaporators, Ion Etching, Optical Coating, Pharmaceutical, Propulsion Testing, Semiconductor Processes, Space Simulation, Sputtering. OUR ASME CODE WELDERS are experts in the welding of the following metals: all Stainless Steels, Carbon Steel, Aluminum, Inonel, Hastalloy, Monel. BY HAVING AN "R" stamp (in addition to our "U" stamp the repair and modification of ASME Code vessels and Vacuum Chambers in the field is a great advantage to our clients. Our field crews are trained in "Confined Space Entry" procedures and we coordinate field work around your production scheduling and "Shutdowns".
